What I Wore: "Jungle Boogie"

Get down, Get down!

Today was a great day, one of those days that make you smile and want to dance a little. That means a lot for me seeing as I don't really really dance that often. But I really enjoyed working with my students today. It's days like this that make me love working with this summer program. I felt like I really inspired some students and in turn they inspired me to keep doing what I'm doing. Great, right?

OK, on to clothes already!

I really liked what I was wearing today. It came together in fragments this morning. I knew I wanted to wear this shirt, but I didn't want to wear it the way I always do with my thin brown waist belt and wide leg jeans. So, I dug through the closet in my brother's old room and found some old jeans. I cut them at the bottom, rolled them up and VOILA! Then I grabbed a few belts to see which I loved best and with this mustard belt, I knew my jungle necklace would work perfectly! Simple. Then I headed out the door to work, a little late. Sorry! It was worth it.

I even enjoyed taking the pictures today. I decided to take my baby djembe outside and play a little bit. I'm a drummer at heart, I just play the guitar and sing because I was forced to. I swear! lol

And shout out to my students that I talked to about fashion today! I hope you really do follow your dreams and become stylists, designers, fashion writers, etc!
